CLOSE was developed out of a need to empower sales executives in order to leverage resources, truly optimize performance and improve effectivness. The CMO Council is dedicated to providing an environment that empowers sales, aligns process and function with marketing and amplifies the voice of sales while marketing assumes the role of sales support leader. The core mandate of CLOSE revolves around three pilars of opportunity:

All members of the CLOSE Advisory Board are experts and luminaries in their fields and offer a wealth of knowledge, experience and battle-tested best practices to improve and optimize sales effectiveness.

The advisory board includes two committees: The Corporate Liaison Committee and The Academic Liaison Committee. The Corporate Liaison Committee is made up of corporate sales executives from prominent global companies involved in the overall sales process. The Academic Liaison Committee's members are academics from business schools of universities from around the world.
